Episode 7
Bumalik, Higanti and Pagbawi Camps (Day 15)
After voting out Rafe in the last Tribal Council, the Higanti tribe felt bummed after losing him, but nevertheless the four people that voted for him felt great about their show of strength, but Kellee was now feeling in the outs because of the vote, Terry went over and tried the comfort her, saying that they are all still Higanti strong and they just used this opportunity to get rid of a Pagbawi. Kellee believed him, but she still puts an eye on him as the day went by.
At Bumalik Camp, Christian and Jay decided to bring in Reynold to their alliance, but keep Trish nearby, with Ian just getting voted out, Jay decided to expand his relationships by bonding with Christian and Reynold and the three guys hit it off well. Meanwhile Sabrina notices the closeness that the three men have, and asks Cydney if she's worried about them, she says that she is, and knowing that her all-girls alliance would need some numbers if they want to dominate in the merge... Cydney decides to recruit Sabrina into the alliance, and she agrees to help out, making them even closer now.
At Pagbawi, Shane continues his strike against Jaclyn and Natalie, by which everyone else is getting tired of it. Dom and Greg have aligned to stay Higanti strong and they both consider just voting him out now, the merge is in the horizon and they'll both probably make it if they oust Shane now or in the next Tribal. But ultimately, they can't decide as it would a far big of a risk to tell what move will work in their favor. Greg also made a good connection with Natalie and Jaclyn, so he feels even more willing to vote off Shane the next tribal they go to...
(I'll tease a little something... most of these tribe dynamics wont really matter for the next Tribal Council...)
Reward Challenge (Day 15)
Challenge: Swing Break
Bumalik and Pagbawi, getting your first look at the new Higanti Tribe, Rafe voted out at the last Tribal Council.
Alright, are you guys ready to get to today's reward challenge? For today's challenge;
Tribe members would transport clay pots using a yoke. They would then carry the yoke to a muddy course and bamboo obstacles and set the two pots on pedestals. The player would then go back to the starting mat, crawling under the bamboo obstacle. Once all pots have been set, one tribe member must swing a wrecking ball, attempting to smash the pots. First two players to smash all their pots will win the challenge for their respective tribes.
Wanna know you are playing for? For the first tribe to finish, you'll get three laying Hens and a Rooster, possibly great food source for all of you. Second tribe to finish, a dozen eggs, not as much, but not bad. Last tribe to finish, nothing. Bumalik and Pagbawi you both have one members, who are you sittting out? Chrisitan and Jaclyn, take a seat on the Sandra bench, I'll give the rest of you a minute to strategize, we'll get it on.
Who will the Winning (first place) Tribe send to Ghost Island?
Bumalik: https://strawpoll.com/7jpka5uk6
Higanti: https://strawpoll.com/4z5yjvw5k
Pagbawi: https://strawpoll.com/7jg5k38qs
Survivors Ready?? Go!!
(Higanti has a +5% advantage and Bumalik has +3% from their previous rewards, Pagbawi needs to get 5 or 3% more to beat either Higanti or Bumalik in this challenge, the first place tribe will get +4% advantage, while the second place will get +2%)
Reward Challenge Results (Day 15)
Higanti!! wins Reward!! We're looking for one more, and Bumalik comes in second!!
Alright, Higanti, before you get your reward, you have to make a decision, who from the other two tribes are you sending to Ghost Island??
You're sending Christian, okay, Christian, you can get your stuff, head down to the beach, boat's waiting for you, you will return in the next immunity challenge.
Higanti you now have earned yourselves three egg laying hens and a rooster, should be a good enough food source for you guys, you can head back to camp. Bumalik, second place gets you these dozen eggs, not bad of a reward, take it and head back to camp. Pagbawi, I've got nothing for you, you can head back to camp, good luck.
(Higanti now has a +9% advantage, Bumalik now has a +5% advantage, Pagbawi still has 0%)
Ghost Island (Day 15)
Christian knew about what was going to happen as Teresa told him about her visit back then. And he figured out that it was probably her and Hayden who made the decision to put him here to get another advantage that they could use moving forward. But the question was still in his mind, what is he going to get?
He arrived at the beach, and he was amazed with all the decorations that production has put up in the island and he made his way toward the row of urns, and he proceeds to smash his own, he then follows what the note inside told him to do, he goes and finds a table with a chest on it.
He opens it and he reads the parchment inside; "This is your Hidden Immunity Idol from Season 37: David vs Goliath, as a major social and strategic threat, enough to make you a "Goliath", you received a total of 18 votes in your time in the island, and nearly went home twice, but this idol was able to save you both times. But ultimately, you ran out of luck, and couldn't save yourself at the final 7. But now, you can use it again to be safe, but it will require you to survive your next two tribal councils... without receiving any votes. If you are able to do that, this idol is yours to use until the final 6, Good Luck."
Christian was bewildered with what he has, and he couldn't wait to tell Jay and Reynold about it, because he knows that he will need their help, if he wants to make it out of two tribal councils without a vote against him. And now he thinks about what he could do to keep him safe, and what he can do beyond the merge and onward.
(No, he can't use his first idol to negate votes, if he gets even a single throwaway vote, this idol will be defunct)
Immunity Challenge (Day 16)
Challenge: Lock, Load and Light
We'll now bring in Christian, returning from Ghost Island.
Alright, are you guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge? Firsts things first, I'll be taking it back, Immunity is back up for grabs, but today, we'll only be need one immunity idol, because the first tribe to finish, and only the first tribe to finish will be winning immunity. The two losing tribes... will be going to Tribal Council together to vote off One person. For Today's Challenge;
The tribes must run up and over two sand mounds, assemble a puzzle boat using unique braces to hold it together, row out to a cauldron, light a torch, row back, remove the braces, and take them to the starting line. Two players will use 16 puzzle pieces to assemble blocks representing compass directions, after which the entire tribe must then fit the blocks and braces into a climbing wall, and climb up to light a fire bale. The first tribe to do so wins immunity.
Bumalik and Pagbawi, you've got 1 extra members, who are you sitting out? Trish and Michelle? Okay, you two can take a seat on the Sandra Bench, the rest of you, I'll give a minute to strategize, big stakes, we'll get it on.
Survivors Ready?? Go!!
(Higanti has a +9% advantage and Bumalik has +5% from their previous rewards, Pagbawi is probably going to lose, so yeah... you guys can still try to make them win... good luck...)
Immunity Challenge Results (Day 16)
Bumalik wins Immunity!! Sending Pagbawi and Higanti to Tribal Council!!
Alright, Bumalik, immunity is yours, no Tribal Council for you tonight, no one going home, you can head back to camp, congrats.
Pagbawi, Higanti, here's how it's going to work, this is a Joint Tribal Council, you are both going to Tribal Council at the same time, and you will be voting One person out of this game.
Oh, one last thing... for this afternoon only... One World is in play, you two will not be going back to your respective camps, instead you will both go back to one camp (of their choice), where you will spend the afternoon together, before you arrive at Tribal Council. You can take that time to strategize, reconnect with your old bonds, stabilize the ones you have now, or create a whole new one for the rest of the game. It's up to you how you'll use this opportunity to your best advantage. Alright, you have chosen to go to Higanti's Camp, you can grab your stuff, head out, I'll see you at Tribal Council.
Higanti Camp (Day 16)
After losing the immunity challenge, having to go to a Joint Tribal Council and a surprise twist that made everyone go back to same camp. They collectively chose to go to Higanti's camp. Where everyone greeted each other with smiles and hugs, but everyone knows that Tribal is in a few Hours, everyone is at risk, and time is ticking... the game is on, the two tribes agreed to talk with their own first before going all out and strategizing with everyone else. The five Higanti stayed at camp, while six Pagbawi went to the water well.
The Higanti five knew that if they all were to stick to their current tribal lines, they're outnumbered 6-5, so they considered trying to pull Dom, Michelle or Shane to their side, they decided to put their target on Natalie. While the Pagbawi six knew that their best option was to stick together and vote Terry out for being a physical threat and will greatly weaken their chances of winning challenges.
After a while, the two tribes got together on their beach and then everyone starts to split off... Kellee went to talk to Jaclyn, Michelle and Natalie, Dom went with Carolyn and Terry, Hayden and Teresa went to talk to Greg, and Shane stayed at camp and laid in the hammock while he still could.
Kellee knew that these were Rafe's allies back at old Pagbawi, and she told them all about what happened to Rafe and his elimination, Kellee knew she was not really safe in Higanti, and she needed to flip. She told them that Natalie was their target, and this made them sure that Pagbawi is still divided, the women decided to target Hayden to avenge Lauren and Rafe, Natalie knew that 4 votes is not enough, and that maybe 5 will work out as long as the other six aren't together, Jaclyn elects herself to go and try to convince Greg, who has been getting along well with her, and ask him if he is willing to make this move with them.
Domenick already knew that Pagbawi WILL NOT stick together, so he payed his old allies Carolyn and Terry a visit to see how they are. They shared their plans with each other, and Dom told Terry to not worry since his he will be safe, Carolyn knew that her idol will make the difference in this vote, and discussed it with her allies if she should use it on either of them. Dom suggests that they just make a 6 person-voting block with Teresa, Hayden and Greg, (and maybe Shane as well for good measure) to make sure that Natalie is the one going home.
Teresa still wanted to make the 'Ghost Island' alliance happen, she thought maybe she can just send her alliance there and that will be the Ghost Island Alliance. She already made Christian go yesterday and if anything happens she and Hayden will make sure that he or Reynold will be the next people to arrive. But Greg's arrival there a few days ago puts a small pin in her plan, and she wanted to make sure that he is on board. Greg was honestly happy about this, and he agrees to join and tells them about his advantage, and Teresa returns the favor. Domenick, Carolyn and Terry then arrive to tell them about their plan for tonight.
Jaclyn then goes to talk to Greg about their plan to vote off Hayden, Greg politely declines (as he just made an alliance with him) and suggest that they just stick with Terry instead, Jaclyn agrees, and when she goes back to the other women, they didn't have much a choice but to vote Terry as well, even Kellee agreed to vote him out.
A little later, Hayden goes and tries to get Shane on board with their plan, Shane however has fallen asleep in the hammock and refused to wake up. Hayden was reminded that Shane is truly untrustworthy, so he proposes that everyone will just vote him out unanimously, as he will just be a liability toward everyone moving forward. Dom, Jaclyn and Natalie agree as they are getting tired of his antics back at camp. But everyone knows that he is still a goat that can guarantee them the win in the final three, do they actually vote him out now?
But Greg was now put in precarious position, does he go with the women and eliminate his physical competition? or does he go with his new majority alliance and play it safe? He thinks about his situation as the two tribes arrive at Tribal Council.
Tribal Council #8 (Day 16)
After having to endure a Tribe Swap and a Tribal Council each, the Higanti and Pagbawi Tribes now have to endure a Joint Tribal Council, where they will be voting one person out of the game. However a surprise twist that made them spend the afternoon at the same camp made it even more unclear on who is aligned with who...
The Pagbawi six, wanted to stick together and vote out Terry, to weaken Higanti's challenge performance. While the Higanti five, needed one of them to flip and help them vote off Natalie, a strategic threat.
However, plans began to break down, as Kellee flipped toward the Pagbawi women, knowing that they'll help her moving forward, the women wanted to blindside Hayden, but they lack the votes in order to do it properly, so they needed to get Greg to help them out, as they can still pull it off with 5 votes.
Dom also flipped on his tribe and went to his old allies Carolyn and Terry to warn them about Pagbawi's plans, and after some strategizing, they decided to make a 6-person voting block with Greg, Teresa and Hayden. To secure that it is Natalie going home tonight. Greg, Teresa and Hayden however, were busy making a 'Ghost Island' Alliance, but they all still agreed with that plan.
Greg also got an invitation from Jaclyn to help her and the women out to blindside Hayden, he politely refused, and made them reconsider voting for Terry instead. The women couldn't do anything but agree.
Shane on the other hand, was asleep the whole afternoon, Hayden realized that he's too much of a liability moving forward and he made everyone consider voting him out unanimously.
But the plans have already been laid out, whose plans will come out on top? and how will this vote affect the rest of their games?

That's 6, that's enough, you need to bring me your torch.
Shane, the Tribe has spoken, time for you to go.
Even with two tribes sitting here in at the same tribal... it seems like the tribal lines are no longer here, so what does this mean for the merge? You can head back to your respective camps, good night.
