The Tribe returned to camp very uncomfortable with what just occurred at Tribal Council.

Malcolm and Andrea came into hot waters about them flipping on their former allies, which now led them to question their true allegiance in this game, most especially Devon who felt most hurt for being their target, he felt like Malcolm truly broke their alliance's plans, and that they had a good plan, they were now in the majority and he just kind of threw it away. Sophie too felt that her relationship with Andrea was straining, as she was able to get the target off her back twice now, and she had the guts to make a stupid move.

Marty too was in hot waters as he was actually in the main alliance. Many people, namely Victoria, Lauren and Janet understood Malcolm and Andrea's hesitance to flip, but Marty doing it just boggled them. And now they lost a bit of trust from all three of them moving forward.

Fabio and Marty had a private conversation about their plans, Fabio is still the biggest threat around right now and Marty's move further made him an liability to most people and now they want him out, both of them knew they were in more trouble than ever, Fabio eventually forgave Marty, as he really wants both of them to be in the Final Three, but they needed to slip through the cracks in the tribe dynamics, but now they both need to work double time in order secure themselves in this ever crazy and unpredictable game.

(tomorrow, will be the immunity challenge... and there will be a twist... watch out for it ;) )

Challenge: Balancing Point

Alright, are you guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge? First's things first, Fabio, I have to take it back, once again immunity is up for grabs, for today's challenge:

You will each have to use one hand to balance a sword on a curved shield and your other hand to pick up coins of varying sizes and balance it on the handle of the sword. As the stack of coins get higher, it will become more difficult to balance, once the coins fall, you are out. Last person left standing, wins immunity, safe from the vote.

And... you are also playing for reward. Tonight, all of you will be picked up by a boat to be taken to a restaurant, for a bit of shelter, for a bit of comfort, but most importantly, all of you will have something to eat. However, there are only ten items on the menu and these items are of increasing value and quality, starting from a small bowl of rice, all the way to a huge t-bone steak with veggies and all the fixings. The winner of this challenge will get the first choice of the ten items, and then he/she will get to allocate the nine remaining meals to the rest of the tribe. Worth for playing for?

First coin you are going to place, is a small coin. Now, you're going to add a large coin. And now another small coin. This challenge starts simple, but it will only get increasingly difficult. Now add a medium coin. These coins are made to be uneven, made to be difficult to balance, made to be a Survivor Challenge. Now add a large coin...

It has been five whole minutes, everyone is still in it, but your stacks of coins are ever growing high, it will be a matter of time before anyone of you will drop. And just as I say that, Marty drops, he is out. And no sooner than that Janet drops, she is out, just like that we are down to eight. Now add a medium coin... and a small coin... now a medium coin. Abi, drops out of nowhere, she is out of this challenge, we are down to seven.

This challenge is also for reward, in this game, a good meal is very scarce, now not only are you going to win immunity and secure yourself a spot in the final nine... you are also guaranteeing yourself a very high-class meal tonight, something that could be the boost you need to make it through the last 12 days of this game. Sophie is out. Victoria can't hold it. They are both out. We are down to five. This challenge would never pause, now add a large coin, and then medium coin. Malcolm can't hang on much longer, he is out. We are now down to four.

Devon, Lauren, Fabio and Andrea, all fighting to win this challenge, both immunity and reward is on the line. Add a small coin. Fabio has won this challenge before, and it got him to the final three, can he do it again and make it to the final nine? Andrea is shaking a bit, but is able to recover. Now add a medium coin. Devon, knocks over his coins as he stacking it. He is out, now it is just three people left. Now add a large coin... and a small coin. Those stacks are looking very fragile, this challenge should end in a matter of time, but we shall see how long these three will endure it.

Now let us add a small coin. A medium coin. A small coin. Fabio is slowly losing his grip on the sword, but he is fighting to stay in it. Andrea with a nice save. Lauren looking calm as ever. Now let's add a large coin, but that makes Fabio his stack, he is out!! We are down to two!! Lauren and Andrea, one of you will walk out of here with both immunity and the power to distribute the reward. Let's see who wants it more; add another large coin. and another medium coin. Both stacks are very high, could fall at any moment, add a small coin. Andrea is shaking a whole lot more... can she save herself?? She can't!! Lauren wins Immunity!! and Reward!!

Lauren, come on over, first time this season, you just won individual immunity, you are safe in tomorrow night's tribal council. But for this night you will have the power to distribute and allocate the meals when you all arrive in the restaurant. I can't really say I've got nothing for you, since you all do... but I will see you all later in the restaurant, for now you can all head back to camp, try to pitch to Lauren why you want to have those food and Lauren you have a bunch of decisions to make. (Sorry this results took long to be posted, just got busy with some holiday stuff. But we will have a few posts later about this restaurant reward and how it will play out in this game. See you then.)

The tribe returned back to their camp after the challenge, almost immediately, everyone agreed to just let Lauren feel free to make her decisions during the reward and it won't bare any hostility between them. But a couple people did make some pitches to her about getting certain meals, but ultimately it was her decision to make.

Lauren definitely feels a whole lot for pressure for the upcoming reward, she knows that she is safe in this next tribal council, but the predicament of having to choose certain people over others, possibly leaking a pecking order, it will become troubling for her game down the line if people take note of it.

She reaches out to Devon and Victoria to ask them on what should she do. They both suggest to let Malcolm and Andrea have a better meal as damage control, so they feel a lot more comfortable with their position in the tribe. But they also need to make sure Fabio and Marty doesn't feel outcasted too, so that they wont actually flip either as they are being seen as a power couple as of now. Lauren definitely feels even more pressure now that this reward could dictate how the rest of this game will go from here.

Meanwhile... Abi, very much knows that she's on the bottom of this whole tribe, she very well expects that she'll receive the worst meal, but she is looking forward to see how the rest of the tribe will stack up, there's definitely other bottom feeders out here, and she awaits for the chaos that this reward will bring to the tribe dynamics.

Hours later, the tribe arrives at their reward, Jeff greets them and reveals the meals they are about to have:

(I shall entrust you guys to distribute the rewards, whatever the results are will be the order of which the food items will be distributed, Lauren will get the steak. But then the castaway with the most points will get the second best reward (the Burger) and so on down the line, these will all have Challenge Advantage points increasing with each quality (0-1-1-1-2-2-2-3-3-4 CA points, respectively), but please make the decision in the eyes of Lauren and her gameplay as of now. The tribe woke up after having the restaurant reward the previous night. The arrangement were as follows:

Lauren with the steak, Andrea with the burger, Malcolm with the stew, Fabio with the spaghetti, Victoria with the chicken wings, Abi with the grilled cheese sandwich, Marty with the hotdog, Devon with the mashed potatoes, Sophie with the soup and Janet with the rice.

Everyone was mostly pleased with what they received, as Lauren already let Devon, Victoria and Janet know about her plan to do some damage control by having Malcolm, Andrea, Fabio and Abi have better meals than them, the four of them also made pact to pick each other in other rewards to compensate, if possible. They did all of that, as they were ready to make a move on Fabio while he wasn't immune and they needed to make everyone believe that there is nothing going on.

They recruited Malcolm into the plan, and then let everyone else think that it was a simple vote tonight against Abi-Maria. But other names were thrown out as well, namely Marty for his atrocious move last round making him untrustworthy to most people.

However, Andrea catches on that last night was just a ploy to just have her back on Lauren's alliance's good side, but she knows better that something fishy is going on. Sophie felt the same and they decided to talk to Fabio and Marty about reuniting the remaining Covu alliance, the two of them were also feeling suspicious of Lauren's motives. Their plan was to pick up Abi and have the other five split their votes between Abi and Marty for being the outsiders, and vote 5 strong against either Devon or Janet, to split them up for good. If things go south, they could at least force a rock draw to happen.

Meanwhile, Janet the night before, discovered an insignia on the bottom of her rice bowl. It looked suspiciously like the water well they had in camp and she decided to take a look around in the area, thinking it was a idol or advantage clue of some kind. She searched for a long time, until she got a bit thirsty and took some water from the well to boil later. And low and behold there was a large button, sunk all the way on bottom of the well. She knew that was idols looked like and she had to get it before anyone else does. She took a long stick and tried to fish it out, after a few minutes of struggling, she eventually fished it out, and it is in fact, a hidden immunity idol. She was so happy she got it. And knows now that her chances of making the final 5 again is higher now she has this idol, she is hoping there isn't an idol nullifier around that time, and she could pull this win out.

But as she struggled getting that idol, Malcolm was on this way over to the water well, when he saw Janet doing her thing. He decided to hide behind some bushes to see what she was doing, and he later spots her getting the idol and hiding it in her clothes. He was flabbergasted by this. First Devon was going behind his back, now her too? It was kind of too much for him, and he is now considering actually voting them out tonight for how untrusting they have been and for the power they have been holding all this time.

Ever since Day 1, Alliances has never been as shaky as they are now. Many formed new relationships, many reignited old ones, many feel betrayed by their closest allies, many lost their trust toward other people.

A combined reward/immunity set the stage to clarify the everyone's positions in the tribe, however Lauren had other plans to strengthen certain bonds as cover up for a big move she was about to make with Devon, Victoria, Malcolm and Janet. However, Andrea, Sophie, Fabio, Marty and Abi caught wind of their sinister motives, and made plans to counter that move with their own.

Meanwhile, Janet found power in this game, while Malcolm reconsiders his relationships.

How will this tribal change the alliances once again? We'll find out.
